Is Bill Cosby right?

One of Michael Eric Dyson’s newest books to hit the stands is entitled “Is Bill Cosby right?: Or has the black middle class lost it’s mind? Touché Mr. Dyson, or have they both lost there mind? I’m almost done with this book and I must say the author has made some good points – I won’t spoil it for you, but I still disagree.

Bill Cosby is right. The “Ghettocracy” or poor black community is what’s wrong with Black America – Sure you have your Uncle Tom, step and fetch Negroes (blacks for bush, project 21, the 15% of black voters who voted for the babbling idiot GW), but they don’t really matter. In every walk of life there are kiss asses, the only people they’re hurting is themselves. But for those blacks in the “Middle Class” that are giving back or the upper class blacks such as Mr. Cosby who have given back – sending black kids to college – saving and supporting HBCU (Historically Black Colleges & Universities; which I myself attended – Go ASU) can we really blame them for telling those of us (you know who you are) to get your act together?

It’s been promoted in the media for sometime now and you can’t help but hear, read or see something about it. There’s so many rumors going around about the latest tell all in “Video Vixen”, which personally I’ve heard enough about, not to mention I wouldn’t give this “street walker” one red cent. I don’t think I’m hating as they say now a days. If it’s true well those dudes get what they deserve, but at the same time we can’t glorify Karrine Steffans (The Video Vixen) actions. There was obviously an ulterior motive behind these actions. There have been several radio interviews done by this individual that pretty much speak for them selves. As one DJ put it “you’ve got serious problems”.
